Kitchen Volunteers
How do we feed hundreds of campers during the summer?
With delicious ingredients and hard working kitchen volunteers. We usually have a head cook with a crew of three volunteers who work in a fully equipped commercial kitchen that overlooks Deer Lake. The TCL campers do all of the dining hall set up and clean up leaving the kitchen volunteers to focus on cooking.
Our cooks are housed near the kitchen/dining hall in the newly remodeled Cook’s Cabin that has four rooms and a small lounge.
If you would like to take a look before you commit, let us know. Some people like to come volunteer in the kitchen while their child attends youth camp.
If you have served in this way before and would like to do it again, give us a call or send an email telling us which camp you would like to sign up for. Please recruit your friends to help us get all of our cooking slots full.
