Praise Report - Girls Camp I

The girls have played all week. We have much to be thankful for. The campers mostly go to the nurse for a band-aid and their meds. We had one day with rain, but on all the other days the girls have enjoyed the sunshine. Our speaker and director team really enjoy leading these girls and helping them understand the gospel. Thank you, God for bringing this wonderful team of volunteers to serve at camp this week.

Praises

  • We know of one girl that committed her life to Jesus from last night. Praise God for this new sister in Christ.

  • Cabin Leaders report girls who had hard hearts on day 1, really softened through the week. Praise God for the progress.

  • One girl does not come from a Christian home and her interest in reading the Bible has really stood out this week.

  • On Tuesday each girl in the cabin caught at least one fish. Praise God for that early morning ministry to these girls. They learn to pray and spend time with the LORD while they fish.

  • The girls are asking thoughtful and original questions after chapel time. Praise God for their thoughtful reflection.

  • They have been singing and reviewing Psalm 136. Praise God for His steadfast love. Pray that these girls would truly know this to be true.

  • Tonight is one last chapel for the Girls and a final campfire. Many girls this week have come from unchurched homes. Please pray for the Spirit to convince these campers to turn their hearts to Him.

Get Invovled

There is still a need for a Nurse and/or first-aid person for the week of Jr. High Camp. If you are available or know of a believer who could serve that week, we could really use one more volunteer to watch over the safety of the campers. Please contact dcm@lakesidebiblecamp.org if you are available.
