weekend retreats

Take a retreat at Lakeside Bible Camp as a chance to deeply root yourself in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our retreats are meant for you to take a break from your regular life to spend some time focused on what matters most—your relationship with God. There is no doubt that you face incredible challenges to your faith in your regular life. Our speakers, directors, and cabin leaders are gearing up to prepare you for the storm ahead. These retreats are a great place for those seeking answers to life’s tough questions.

Receive a $20 discount for each first-time-camper friend you invite to an LBC weekend camp. Your friend must also be registered for a weekend. Fill out the Bring-A-Friend Request Form in the document center when you register.

 Retreat

Packing List

Your retreat will go more smoothly if you follow this list when you pack for the weekend! 

Please Bring: 

  • Bible, notebook, and pen 

  • Sleeping bag and pillow 

  • Personal toiletries - toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, etc. 

  • Bath towel, hand towel, and washcloth 

  • Clothing for 3 days and 2 nights – including a coat, and possibly gloves.  Please make sure your clothing is modest, and that you are prepared for a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, and various weather conditions. 

  • Extra shoes and socks 

  • A bag for dirty/wet laundry 

  • Personal water bottle 

  • Flashlight 

  • Medication (if applicable) should be in its original container for drop off. 

Please label your items with your name in case you misplace them! 

 

Do Not Bring: 

  • Phones or personal electronic devices (Leaders 18+ may keep for emergency use.) 

  • Anything that is irreplaceable or very special to you 

  • Cash for the LBC Cafe; please deposit money by credit card into your UltraCamp account.

  • Hammocks 

  • Gum, Energy drinks (Monster, Red Bull, etc)

  • Fireworks, lighters, or matches 

  • Weapons of any kind 

  • Airsoft guns and knives 

  • Cigarettes, vape, alcohol, and drugs (including marijuana products) 

  • Prank materials of any kind  

Campers with phones will be asked to turn them in to the camp office for safe-keeping until camper pick-up.
