Summer Camp is underway! This is our favorite time of year, though LBC is always busy with church rentals, weekend retreats, various workshops, and Bible studies. Lakeside has been a beacon of light in our world for 60+ years and continues to share the gospel with a culture that is quite confused and darkened in their thinking. Our Girls Weekend (Grades 2-6) starts February 10-12 & our first teen camp is High School Weekend, starting February 17–19. I’m so thankful for our lineup of speakers this year who all have a HUGE heart to impact our world and the lives of campers at LBC. Camps like Lakeside have a unique opportunity in our culture to speak truth and to disciple campers who need a clear dose of the Good News.

I love that LBC has a whole patch program that encourages campers to memorize Scripture each time they come to camp. They hear the gospel from a Speaker, they get a gospel conversation with a cabin leader, and we hope they will go home having memorized a set of Scriptures that speak to the Good News of Jesus Christ.
