New Facilities and Grounds Manager - Hiram Beach

Hello LBC Friends!

LBC is excited to announce that we have hired Hiram Beach as our new Facilities & Grounds Manager! He and his wife Christi have now started working at LBC. We are ecstatic that they have accepted the position here at camp and we look forward to ministering with them!

Hiram grew up in a Christian home-schooled family as child number 6 in a family of 7 kids! He remembers watching his older siblings go to camp at Lakeside and looked forward to the day he could go! He grew up believing in the Lord, but his first year at Jr. Boys taught him that Jesus died on the cross to save him from hell because He loved him!

Since then, Hiram has been back to LBC many times for Sr Boys, TCL, cabin leading, family camps, and more! He shared that some of the most powerful memories he has are working alongside Mike Jovich as he maintained camp and simultaneously taught TCLers the value of hard work in the Lord’s service, and he has strived to match Mike’s work ethic ever since. Hiram says that stepping into this role is a dream come true!

Upon graduating high school in 2007, Hiram joined the United States Marine Corps and served for 5 years, deploying to Spain, Afghanistan, and many other countries. Once out of the USMC, he went to college for Criminal Justice because he felt like the Lord was calling him to help His people and thought that could be a good avenue. After graduating college, he married Christi and they moved to Wenatchee, WA. Since then, he has spent the last 4 years working as a plumber, doing building & construction projects, and accomplishing a complete rehab on their first home that was originally built in 1920!

In their free time, they love to rock hound, fish, hunt, hike, rock climb, kayak, scuba dive, white water raft, paddleboard, go snowmobiling, ski, travel, and any other adventures that come their way! They also enjoy spending time with their families (including their 24 epic nieces & nephews!) every chance they get!

Please be sure to give them a warm welcome when you next find yourself at Lakeside Bible Camp!
