Welcome Jana Johnston!

LBC is adding a new member to our Staff team! We hired Jana Johnston this month as our new camp Registrar. She began working in September, in order to shadow Marina Baker before she retires.

The Johnston family are close friends of LBC. They have served at camp by directing Family Camp and the Summer Staff, as well as cabin leading. This last summer, they came a few weeks before Family Camp 1 just to help with projects around camp.

Jana is excited to step up and serve in the Registrar position at LBC. She’s looking forward to utilizing her years of office and organizational skills to help develop the registration experience of campers and volunteers.

Jana and her husband, Steve, live in Chandler, Arizona with their kids - Elijah, Anna, and Rory. During her free time at camp, she loves spending time paddling out on the lake, doing crafts, and walking on the trails. Jana is very friendly and always enjoys the chance to visit with both old and new friends at camp. When not at LBC, you might find her hiking, geocaching, or cheering at the kids' soccer games.

Please be sure to give Jana a warm welcome when you connect with her at camp! Our registration system should go live for Retreats, Summer Camps, TCL, Staff, and Volunteers later in October.
