Year-Round FAQs and Policies

  • Click a REGISTER button on our website. Log in if you already have an account; create a new account if you don’t. If you are unsure, or can’t remember your account information, please don’t create a second account, just reach out and we’ll help you.

    Contact LBC’s Registrar (registrar@lakesidebiblecamp.org) for assistance.

  • First try resetting your password. Your UltraCamp account is connected to the email address associated with the primary account person. Your username is the primary email address. If you do not receive a reset link via email or text, email registrar@lakesidebiblecamp.org, or call 360-341-4170, and we will help you.

  • You can add store money to your camper’s account in Ultracamp anytime.

    Log in to the registration system. From your account dashboard, click on the “pancake icon” in the upper left corner. Select CAMP STORE and then STORE DEPOSITS.

    Indicate the amount you would like to place into the camp store for the camper and follow the prompts on the screen.

    It is not recommended that campers bring cash for the store, as we will not be utilizing cash accounts. Campers who do bring cash will need to keep it and take care of it, at their own risk.

    Remaining camper store money, greater than $5, is refunded after camp, on request, using the Store Refund Request Form. A link to this form is available at check-out and in the follow-up email from LBC the day after your camp session ends. This form must be completed to notify the LBC staff to refund the money to you. It usually takes 3-5 business days to process your request. Store money remains in the account holder's name through August 31, and can be applied for any camp session. Any store money not refunded after August 31st will be applied to LBC's general fund. There are no cash or check store money refunds available. We will only be refunding credit card charges.

  • We offer different discounts during different camp seasons. Our current discounts are:

    First-time Camper Discount - available to any youth attending an LBC overnight camp, without a parent, for the first time; $20 off for retreats, $50 off for summer camps

    Early Bird Discount - $20 off for retreats; $50 off for youth summer camp registrants, with the registration completed and the deposit paid 2 months prior to a session.

    Bring a Friend - $20 off for you and the first-time friend for a retreat OR $100 off for the summer. The new-to-LBC friend must attend the same session as your camper and must be signed up 1 week prior to the camp session.

    Financial Aid (Scholarships) - LBC also offers a Financial Assistance program. See the following FAQ item for details.

    Please reach out to our Registrar with any questions you have about discounts.

  • We never want the financial burden of camp to keep someone from attending one of our camps or retreats. Most of the requests submitted are approved because of the many people who give to support this cause.

    1) Fill out an application. We offer two levels of assistance. For 25% assistance, we need only the completed application; for 50% we also need a pastoral reference.

    2) Let our Registrar (registrar@lakesidebiblecamp.org) know that you submitted a request. Processing should take about one week once your application is submitted and a required reference is received.

  • If you must cancel your camp registration, please send an email to registrar@lakesidebiblecamp.org, or call us at 360-341-4170, and your cancellation will be processed.

    While the bulk of your registration can be refunded, the deposit you pay ($50 for youth camps and $200 for family camps) is non-refundable and will be retained if you need to cancel. That deposit is also non-transferable and cannot be turned into a tax-deductible donation.

    For SUMMER CAMPS - There will be no refunds one week prior to the start of the summer camp session.

    For RETREAT WEEKENDS - In case of last minute illness, LBC will retain the $50 deposit and the remaining registration fees will be refunded.

    1. Respect others. Listen to leaders and be kind to other campers. Speak and act respectfully toward others.

    2. Respect buildings, grounds, and all wildlife. Be friendly toward the environment and help keep it clean.

    3. Be at all scheduled events and stay in groups on camp property.

    4. Do not share personal items with other campers such as water bottles, hair brushes, hats, etc.

    5. HAVE FUN!

    We want to make camp as safe and fun as possible. Parents, please discuss these rules with campers prior to attending camp. Campers in violation of the rules may be subject to immediate dismissal from the camp, depending on the offense. All pranks, fighting, and any other abusive acts will result in immediate dismissal from camp. If a parent/guardian is called to pick up a student that has been dismissed from camp, it will be at the parent/guardian’s expense.

  • DRESS CODE: The bottom line is “be modest.” We know that’s a bit subjective, but that is the word that the Bible uses for our dress. So, this dress code is an attempt at clarity on the subject. We trust you will thoughtfully consider the clothing you bring to camp to be sure it is appropriate for the activities you will be doing.

    At any time, camp leadership may discuss some specific issue of modesty that comes up with camp rs/volunteers/staff/TCL etc., so please don’t take offense as we try to balance the competing views of what is modest and what is not.

    Clothing (including swimsuits)

    · Boys should not wear Speedo brief-style swimwear. Shirts should be worn when not swimming.

    · Girls should have either a one-piece suit or a tankini where the top meets the bottoms. If not available, a t-shirt type covering is sufficient in most cases. Also, when not swimming, your swimsuit should be covered (i.e. when walking through camp). If wearing just shorts and a T-shirt for swimming, wear a dark colored shirt.

    · Please be aware of tight-fitting clothes in general. Things like leggings, short-shorts, crop tops, and sheer shirts may need to be covered in some way. Again, think modesty.

    · Clothing should be free from references to things like alcoholic beverages, political topics, and sexually suggestive subjects. Use common sense here. Same thing with sweats with writing on the bottoms...they just attract attention. We appreciate your efforts with this.

    Footwear

    · Shoes, sandals, or flip flops should be worn at all times for safety reasons unless swimming or in boats.

    · Closed-toed shoes are required for some camper activities and for staff/TCL work assignments.

    Fragrances

    · In consideration of others, please do not wear strong fragrances. You should not wear perfume/cologne while working in the kitchen.

    Work Environment (Summer Crew, TCL, Kitchen Staff)

    · Wear closed-toed shoes: in the kitchen at all times, in the dining hall while serving food, and at work block.

    · Tank tops are not permitted while working in the kitchen, doing dishes, or serving food.

    · Attire should be fresh and clean when you begin work around camp.

    · The supervisor at each job site may have additional dress/safety wear requirements related to the specific work being done.

  • During youth camps, ALL MEDICATIONS (over the counter, prescription medications and vitamins) must be turned in to the First Aid Provider upon arrival. All medication must be in its original container.

    You can enter your camper’s medical details in their registration account, and discuss all information with our First Aid Provider at check-in.

    After camp, any remaining medications will be available for pick-up at the check-out table. Please pick up your medications! State Law may prevent LBC from returning any leftover medications home by mail.

  • Winter Weekend Retreats and Summer Camps have different mail policies. Click on the appropriate camp season above for more info.

  • We keep Lost & Found items from each camp on-site for two weeks, and then donate the remaining items to a local thrift store. Let us know ASAP if you realize you have left something at camp! Once we locate it, we will be happy to hold your item while you make arrangements to pick it up. Unfortunately, we will not be able to mail items to you.
