Gearing up For Family
The month leading up to Christmas crescendos toward the expectation of time with family. In Ephesians 3 Paul’s points out that our faith-family is all tied together because of the work of Christ. Family Camps are one of the best experiences of the summer where families come to camp to have fun and spend time focusing on God’s Word together.
One of the things I’ve reflected on lately is the role that camp plays in helping families pass the torch to their kin. It’s a wonderful part of what we do at camp. Parents can take their kids to church and talk to them frequently about Christ, but eventually the kids will need to make it their own faith. Lakeside gets to be a place where the gospel is presented so that the kids & teens can make their own choice. For me personally, I know that LBC played a significant role in helping me make my own decision to live out my own faith.
Pray for Families to be impacted by the ministry of Lakeside Bible Camp.
Pray for Kids & Teens to make their own decisions to follow Christ.
Pray for God to bring us wonderful cabin leaders who love sharing their faith with kids.
We hope you also experience a holiday season where your family gatherings grow more and more toward the fellowship of sharing in Christ’s victory.
